The pencil heel
The pencil heel concentrates load on a single point, which is why most pencil heels hurt. We rebuilt the architecture: a wider heel pad, a reinforced metal core, and a sole that distributes weight across the forefoot. The Cleopatra runs true to size on a wider last: wider calf, wider ankle, deeper toe box. If you are between sizes, size up. Measure your foot in the evening, heel to longest toe, using the larger foot. Exchanges are free if the fit is off.
How light is it really?
The Cleopatra uses a super lightweight construction throughout. It is noticeably lighter than typical leather boots at this heel height. The combination of lightweight build and re-engineered pencil heel is what lets you go from morning to evening without discomfort.
What is the return policy?

What are they made of?
Full-grain leather upper, the top layer of the hide, uncorrected and uncoated so it ages into patina rather than cracking. Inside, cherry-red soft leather lining, edge to edge. The heel is rubber-tipped. Hardware is the signature logo buckle.
Does the pencil heel hold up?
Yes. The rubber tip on the heel is replaceable at any cobbler for a few dollars, which is all the maintenance the heel ever needs. The reinforced metal core means the heel does not wobble or compress over time.
