How does a 6-inch wedge feel compared to a 4-inch heel?
More comfortable, counterintuitively. The wedge distributes your body weight across the entire length of the foot rather than concentrating it at the heel point. Many women find wedges significantly easier to walk in than lower stilettos.
Can I wear these on uneven ground?
The rubber sole base provides grip on most surfaces. The wedge is less suited to cobblestones or gravel than a flat sole — for heavily uneven terrain, a flat boot would serve better. On standard urban surfaces they perform well.
