The Craft
Florence is built to last decades. Goodyear welt construction — the same used in the finest men's dress shoes for 150 years — means the sole is stitched, not glued, to the upper. When the sole wears down after years of use, a cobbler replaces it for £80 rather than £1,695. Full-grain leather and a Dainite rubber outsole handle any surface. This is the boot you buy once.

Questions
What makes Goodyear welt construction different?
The sole is stitched to the upper rather than glued — the same construction method used in top-tier men's dress shoes for over a century. It creates a stiffer, more durable boot that also happens to be resoleable, making it a permanent wardrobe investment rather than a disposable purchase.
Can I resole these boots?
Yes. Any quality cobbler can resole Florence when the Dainite outsole wears down — typically after 3–5 years of regular wear. The cost is a fraction of the original purchase, effectively making these a permanent piece.
Why does Florence cost more than the other boots?
Goodyear welt construction requires significantly more skilled labour and material per pair. Each boot takes twice as long to make as a standard cemented sole boot. You're buying craft and longevity, not just leather.
How long does shipping take?
Orders placed before 1 PM ET ship same day. Standard delivery is 3–7 business days depending on your location.
